Dua Lipa was born 22nd August 1995 in London United Kingdom. The self-titled debut album was released in 2017 following her signed with Warner Bros Records. The album reached number three on the U.K. Albums Chart and was followed by eight singles, including Be The One I.D.G.A.F and the U.K. number-one single New Rules which peaked at 6th within the United States. Lipa was awarded an award at the Brit Awards in the year 2018 for British Female Solo Artist, and British Breakthrough Act. Her album has been certified platinum across several countries around the world. Future Nostalgia Lipa is set to release her third album in the studio, Future Nostalgia Lipa in 2020. Help her celebrate here. Dua lipa was born 22nd August 1995 in London with Kosovo Albanian Anesa Rexha, and Dukagjin Lipa. Through her maternal grandmother, she is of Bosnian descent. Also, her ancestors come from Peja, which is a Kosovo town Peja. Her grandfathers were historians as well. Lipa is the younger sister of Rina Lipa, and has one younger brother, named Gjin. Lipa was musically influenced by her father, who was the guitar player and lead singer of Oda, the Kosovan rock group Oda. Her father at home continued to perform music, including music and compositions, as well as songs of David Bowie Bob Dylan Radiohead Sting The Police and Stereophonics. Lipa began to sing at the age of five years old. When she was nine years old, Lipa started to sing in the Sylvia Young Theater School. Lipa has covered If I Am Not Got You as well as Beautiful from Christina Aguilera and posted it on YouTube. Lipa signed with Warner Bros. Records a agreement in 2014. The first single she released was New Love was released in August, 2015.
